Biography

Davis tra­veled ex­ten­sive­ly, liv­ing at dif­fer­ent times in Mar­cel­lus, New York; Vicks­burg, Mis­sis­sip­pi; Bal­ti­more, Ma­ry­land; Cin­cin­na­ti, Ohio; and Burr Oak and Find­ley, Mi­chi­gan.

He taught voice and in­stru­ment­al class­es, had charge of choirs in va­ri­ous plac­es, and sang ma­ny so­los. He ne­ver marr­ied.
