Biography

Rollin was the son of Oba­di­ah Lo­ren­zo Ward and Ca­ro­line Vick­roy. He mar­ried twice, to Ma­ry Ann Moy­er (Ap­ril 7, 1875, Cone­maugh, Penn­syl­van­ia) and Au­gus­ta L. Se­mon (June 28, 1911, Port Clin­ton, Ohio).

Copyright re­cords show Ward, a min­is­ter, liv­ing in Can­ton, Ohio, in 1898.

As of 1902, he was head of the Find­lay Col­lege Con­ser­va­to­ry of Music, Find­lay, Ohio. He re­signed that post around 1904, at which time he was said to be in the San­dus­ky, Ohio, Con­fer­ence of the Unit­ed Breth­ren in Christ.

In 1925, he was re­port­ed to be pas­tor of the Me­tho­dist Pro­test­ant Church of Card­ing­ton, Ohio, and di­rec­tor of the Con­ser­va­to­ry of Mu­sic in West La­fay­ette, Ohio.
