Sikora was a Polish Lutheran pastor, teacher, revivalist and songwriter.
He worked in congregations in Dornfeld (now Ternopillja, Ukraine), Návsí and Cieszyn. His passion was service to the poor and disabled.
He helped prepare many Polish evangelical songbooks, and wrote or translated almost 500 songs and hymns.
