Blew was educated at Great Ealing School, London, and Wadham College, Oxford, England (BA 1830, MA 1832). On taking Holy Orders, he became Curate of Nuthurst and Cocking, West Sussex; and St. Anne’s, Winchester. For a time, he also served as Incumbent of St. John’s near Gravesend. His works include:
