Lyrics

Since through God’s mercy
This ministry’s ours,
Bringing men righteousness
Through God’s great power,
We don’t lose heart but
Renounce shameful ways;
We don’t deceive but
The truth plainly say.
To unbelievers
Our message is veiled;
They are made blind by
The god of this world.
But God who said, Let
The dark turn to light,

Shined in our hearts with
His glory so bright.

We are hard pressed on
All sides but not crushed;
We are perplexed, but
We never give up;
We’re persecuted
But not left by God;
We are struck down, but
We’re never destroyed.
We have this treasure
In jars made of clay,
That God’s great pow’r and
Not ours be displayed.
Within our bodies
Christ’s death do we show,
That Jesus’ life in
Us now may be known.

We know we’ll be raised
With Jesus one day;
Therefore, our trials
Do not cause dismay.
Though on the outside
We’re wasting away,
Inwardly we are
Renewed day by day.
Our present troubles
Will soon pass away;
Eternal glory
They’ll bring us some day.
We fix our eyes not
On what we can see;
Only the unseen
Will eternal be.
