Biography

Louise was daug­hter of Will­iam M. Hogg, Jr., and Ca­ther­ine Lott Horn­er, and wife of min­is­ter Charles Ham­il­ton Prid­geon (mar­ried Ap­ril 2, 1930, Beth­le­hem, Penn­syl­van­ia).

An op­era sing­er, she is said to have re­ceived a me­dal from King Leo­pold of Bel­gium at the height of her ca­reer.

Deep­ly re­li­gious, she be­came close friends with the Booths, found­ers of the Sal­va­tion Ar­my. She and her husband es­tab­lished ma­ny mis­sions.
