Buried: Moun­tain View Ce­me­te­ry and Mau­so­le­um, Al­ta­de­na, Ca­li­for­nia. Her tomb­stone spells her sur­name as Ab­bot, but her ob­i­tu­ary gives it as Ab­bott.

Biography

Vera was the daugh­ter of Charles Hutch­in­son Ga­bri­el, Sr. and Fran­cil­la I. Wood­house Cool­ing, half-sis­ter of Charles H. Ga­bri­el, Jr., and wife of Ed­ward Ro­bert­son Ab­bot.

She stu­died at the Bos­ton Con­ser­va­to­ry of Mu­sic.
