Biography

Cluff was the hus­band of Anne Blake Edge.

He at­tend­ed Tri­ni­ty Col­lege and be­came a min­is­ter in the Church of Ire­land (An­gli­can).

He pas­tored in va­ri­ous lo­ca­tions in Ire­land. In 1884, he be­came the lead­er of the Ply­mouth Breth­ren.

He wrote about 1,000 songs, and com­posed ma­ny me­lo­dies and ora­tor­ies.
