Biography

Atchley’s tune Tua­la­tin was pub­lished in 1918 in Hud­son, North Ca­ro­li­na.

It seems pos­si­ble he may be Jo­na­than Mell Ham­mer Atch­ley (1862–1930), who lived in Se­vi­er Coun­ty, Ten­nes­see, about 100 miles from Hud­son.
