Lyrics

Jesus, my Savior, teach me Thy will;
Wilt Thou protect me, and keep me still
In Thy blest pathway, where Thou shalt guide?
Oh! keep me ever close to Thy side.

Lord, I would trust Thee in everything,
And I would always Thy praises sing;
Keep me from straying, guide all the way,
Until the dawning of Heaven’s day.

Teach me Thy lessons, which life must learn;
For heav’nly wisdom my heart doth yearn.
Thou art my Savior, gracious and kind;
All that is needed in Thee I find.

Tho’ poor and humble Thy child may be,
Thou wilt remember and care for me;
Never forgetting a loving child;
For on Thy children Thy love hath smiled.
