When the trump of God shall ring
I shall stand before the King,
In His likeness, Jesus’ likeness;
Saved by His redeeming grace
I shall meet Him face to face,
In His likeness, blessèd likeness.

Refrain

In His likeness, Jesus’ likeness,
At the great home coming in the sky,
In His likeness, blessèd likeness,
I shall stand before Him by and by.

When He cometh in the air,
I shall gladly meet Him there,
In His likeness, Jesus’ likeness;
In the twinkling of an eye,
I’ll be fashioned for the sky,
In His likeness, blessèd likeness.

Refrain

When the shadows disappear,
I shall wake, no more to fear,
In His likeness, Jesus’ likeness;
When the morning light has come,
I shall dwell with Christ at home,
In His likeness, blessèd likeness.
