Holy Trinity, thanks and praise to Thee,
That our life and whole sal­va­tion
Flow from Christ’s blest in­car­na­tion,
And His death for us on the shame­ful cross.

Had we an­gels’ tongues, with se­raph­ic songs,
Bowing hearts and knees be­fore Thee,
Triune God, we would ad­ore Thee
