Lyrics

Oh! a wondrous time is coming unto you,
And the day nor hour no mortal knows;
Be prepared, accept and trust the Savior true,
Death and judgment meet with calm repose!

Refrain

Be prepared, oh! why delay,
When a moment may decide your fate?
Be prepared for Christ today,
Lest it shall forever be too late!

Jesus, for each trusting soul, escape provides
Thro’ His mercy and unchanging love,
And from death and night the wanderer safely guides
To the shelter of the home above.

Refrain

Look to Christ, believing, and His name confess,
That He may salvation freely give;
Be prepared, redeemed from all unrighteousness,
And forever in His presence live!
