Woodd entered Trinity College, Oxford, at age 17, and took Holy Orders in 1783. He became lecturer of St. Peter’s Cornhill (1784); morning preacher at Bentinck Chapel, Marylebone (1785); and Rector of Drayton Beauchamp, Buckinghamshire (1808). His works include:
