Wells’ parents were Nobles Benedict Ray­mond and Hannah Wood. She came to Christ at age 13, and at age 18, she married minister George Clair Wells, of the Troy, New York, Con­fer­ence of the Meth­od­ist Episcopal Church. She served as Secretary of the Troy Conference Ladies’ Centenary Association during American Methodism’s centennial year. Her works include:
