Son of John Warner (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, & Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians), John was educated at the Southwark Mission College, and was ordained a deacon in 1878, and priest in 1879. He served as Curate of St. Paul’s, Southampton (1878-80), and later of other parishes, until 1888, when he became Vicar of Hadlow Down, Sussex. His works include:
