Daughter of John Deck and sister of hymnist James Deck, Mary married in 1848 Dr. Edward Walker, sometime Rector of Cheltenham, England. Several of her hymns appeared as leaflets, others in her husband’s Psalms and Hymns for Public and Social Worship, 1855.
