Turle was a cho­ris­ter at Wells Ca­thed­ral (1811–13), and was ar­ti­cled to J. J. Goss (un­cle of John Goss). He played the or­gan at Christ Church, Black­fri­ars (1819–29); St. James, Ber­mond­sey (1829–31); and was as­sist­ant at West­min­ster Ab­bey, serving as or­gan­ist and mas­ter of the chor­is­ters (1831–75). His works in­clude:
