Biography

Trend was edu­cat­ed at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Giess­en, or­dained in 1854, and was for some time Min­is­ter of the Don­a­tive of Dur­leigh, So­mer­set.

He con­trib­ut­ed se­ver­al trans­la­tions from the La­tin, and orig­in­al hymns, to a hym­nal by his son, John B. Trend, and oth­er Col­lect­ions.
