Biography

Toth stu­died theo­lo­gy in Pá­pa (1920–22) and Day­ton, Ohio (1922–24).

He was a tu­tor in Lo­rain, Ohio, and De­troit, Mi­chi­gan, then in Me­ző­túr, Hun­ga­ry, and Bu­da­pest. Be­tween 1925 and 1928 he was a stu­dent of the Fa­cul­ty of Hu­ma­ni­ties of the Páz­má­ny Pé­ter Ca­tho­lic Uni­ver­si­ty, Pi­lis­csa­ba, Hun­ga­ry.

From 1928–1932 he taught col­lege in Ka­pos­vár, Hun­ga­ry. Lat­er he served as a priest in Cser­je and Csur­gó.
