Biography

Carlos was the son of Mas­sa­chu­setts par­ents, and hus­band of El­vi­ra Brown (mar­ried 1850).

He was edu­cat­ed at the Pom­pey Aca­de­my, Un­ion Col­lege, and Ma­di­son Uni­ver­si­ty.

A min­ister, he ser­ved pas­tor­ates in nu­mer­ous lo­ca­tions, in­clud­ing:
