Biography

Stuart was the son of Cas­well Cobb Stu­art and Ma­ria Mar­tin Wor­ley, and hus­band of Zol­lie Stu­art.

He was edu­cat­ed at Em­o­ry and Hen­ry Col­lege, Em­o­ry, Vir­gin­ia. He served as a Me­tho­dist min­is­ter, ev­an­gel­ist, and tem­per­ance work­er in Knox­ville, Ten­nes­see; Birm­ing­ham, Ala­ba­ma; and oth­er lo­ca­tions.
