Lovie’s hus­band was Rev. Frank K. Strat­ton, DD, a mem­ber of the New Eng­land Con­fer­ence of the Meth­od­ist Epis­co­pal Church. She taught in the pub­lic schools of Do­ver, New Hamp­shire, for ele­ven years. Her po­ems were pub­lished from time to time in Zi­on’s Her­ald, the Christ­ian Wit­ness, and other per­i­od­i­cals.
