Died: Sep­tem­ber 25, 1619, Rome, Italy

A singer, ed­it­or, and com­pos­er, So­to sang in the pa­pal choir in Rome (1562-1611) and in the or­a­to­ry of St. Fil­lip­po Ne­ri (1566-75). Or­dained a priest in 1575, he served at San­ta Ma­ria in Val­li­cel­la.
