Biography

Educated in Fa­ver­sham, Kent, Eng­land, Smith was a Fel­low of the Roy­al Col­lege of Or­gan­ists.

He played the or­gan at East­ling, Wes­ter­ham, and at St. Bede’s, Li­ver­pool (since 1892).

As of 1912, he was still in Li­ver­pool, where he taught mu­sic and com­posed.
