Slinn be­longed to the Pro­vi­dence, Par­ti­cular Bap­tist Cha­pel, North­ampton. She mar­ried the cha­pel’s pas­tor, Ed­ward Vors­ley (1765-1838) in 1804. A hymn at­trib­ut­ed to her (and lat­er dated to 1777) ap­peared in the Ju­ly 1779 is­sue of the Gos­pel Mag­a­zine.
