Biography

Mary was the daugh­ter of Will­iam Bar­na­bas Ca­ne­dy and Su­san Hughes Lu­ther, and wife of min­is­ter Al­bi­on King Slade, Sr.

She taught, and served as as­sist­ant ed­it­or of The New Eng­land Jour­nal of Edu­ca­tion.
