Biography

Martha was the daugh­ter of John Jack­son of Man­ches­ter, and wife of J. W. Shel­ly of Great Yar­mouth (mar­ried 1846).

Her hymns ap­peared The Child’s Own Hymn Book, ed­it­ed by John Cur­wen, 1844–74.
