Died: October 23, 1597, Friedrichroda, Thuringia, Germany.
Schneegass graduated MA from the University of Jena.
In 1573, he became pastor of the St. Blasius church at Friedrichroda. He was also adjunct to the Superintendent of Weimar, and in that capacity signed the Formula of Concord in 1579.
