Introduction

Born: June 18, 1888, Enfield, Mas­sa­chu­setts.

Died: March 14, 1923, Na­za­reth, Is­ra­el. She drowned dur­ing a squall on the “Lake of Ti­be­ri­as” (al­so known as the Sea of Ga­li­lee).

Buried: Orig­in­al­ly at the Pro­test­ant ce­me­te­ry in Na­za­reth. Later re-interred at Rose­dale Ce­me­te­ry, Or­ange, New Jer­sey.

Biography

Marion was the daugh­ter of min­is­ter Charles Al­bert Sav­age and Mary Fi­del­ia Fiske.

At one time, she taught in the De­part­ment of Eco­no­mics and So­ci­o­lo­gy, Well­es­ley Col­lege, Well­es­ley, Mas­sa­chu­setts.
