Biography

Roth was the son of Lew­is Roth and Ly­dia Buechle, and hus­band of Me­lin­da Wag­ner.

Ordained in 1876, one of his first as­sign­ments was with an Ice­land­ic set­tle­ment in Lu­nen­burg Coun­ty, No­va Sco­tia.

Around 1890, he was pas­tor at the Church of the Re­deem­er, Al­ba­ny, New York.
