Biography

Henri was the hus­band of Ma­de­leine de Graf­fen­ried from Berne.

He stu­died med­i­cine in Zu­rich and Würz­burg, and prac­ticed in Ve­vey for five dec­ades.

He is re­mem­bered for his Bi­ble com­men­tar­ies, his trans­la­tions of John Dar­by in­to French, and ed­it­ing Le Mes­sag­er Évan­gél­ique for al­most 60 years.
