Died: June 9, 1864, Mon­zie­vaird, Perth­shire, Scot­land.

Biography

William was the son of Rev. John Ro­bert­son, D.D.

He was edu­cat­ed at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Glas­gow (MA).

In 1843, he be­came par­ish min­is­ter at Mon­zie­vaird.

He served on the Hym­nal Com­mittee of the Es­tab­lished Church in 1852, 1853 and 1857, and con­trib­ut­ed two hymns to their Hymns for Pub­lic Wors­hip in 1862.
