but his tombstone clearly shows Riddle.
Edwin was the son of Andrew Benjamin Riddle and Anna Rebecca Holland, half-brother of Agnes Riddle, and husband of Mary Ethel Paget (married December 24, 1915, Holmes County, Florida).
A minister, he was living in Darlington, Florida, in 1923. That year, his song O Wandering Sheep, Come Home was published in The Gospel Way.
Riddle represented Walton County in the Florida House of Representatives in 1941 and 1961, and served in the Florida State Senate in the 1940s. He was impeached and expelled from the House of Representatives in 1961.
