Biography

Reinartz was the son of John Gott­fried Rein­artz and Sar­ah Ju­lia Paul­ine Epp­ling, and hus­band of Is­abel­la Lang Mar­tin (mar­ried 1930, Get­tys­burg, Penn­syl­va­nia).

He was edu­cat­ed at Get­tys­burg Col­lege (AB 1924) and the Lu­ther­an Theo­lo­gic­al Se­mi­na­ry in Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia.

Copyright re­cords show him liv­ing in East Li­ver­pool, Ohio, in 1935. In the 1950s he lived in New York Ci­ty and New Ro­chelle, New York.

Starting around 1937, he served as Sec­re­ta­ry for Pro­mo­tion of the Unit­ed Lu­ther­an Church in Amer­i­ca for eight years.

He was called to the pas­tor­ate of Ho­ly Tri­ni­ty Lu­ther­an Church, Phi­la­del­phia, Penn­syl­van­ia, in 1945.
