Bert Polman

1945, Rozenburg, Zuid Holland, Netherlands.

Polman emigrated to Canada in 1955, and was educated at Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa; the University of Minnesota (PhD 1981); and the Institute for Christian Studies, Toronto, Canada (post graduate work). He served as organist and choirmaster at the Oakland United Methodist Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota (1969-72) and St. John’s Anglican Church, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; and served on the Revision Committee for the Christian Reformed Church’s 1987 Psalter Hymnal. His works include:
