Biography

Grant was the son of Sam­uel Pol­lock and Eli­za­beth Ann Ham­il­ton, and hus­band of Ger­trude Cox Lit­ten.

He was ad­mit­ted on trial to Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal Pitts­burgh Con­fer­ence in 1900, gain­ing full mem­ber­ship in 1902. He be­came a dea­con in 1902, and el­der in 1904.

He held nu­mer­ous ap­point­ments through­out Penn­syl­van­ia, in­clud­ing the Rob­in­son Street Mis­sion, Pitts­burgh (1913–19), and Con­fer­ence Ev­an­gel­ist (1919–30).
