Biography

Piggott at­tend­ed High­field Col­lege, Hud­dersfield, and Head­ing­ley Wes­ley­an Coll­ege.

He pas­tored at the Bro­ther­hood Church in Har­row Road, Lon­don (1896–1900); Gre­ville Place, Kil­burn (1901–04); Bun­yan Meet­ing, Bed­ford (1905–15); White­field’s Ta­ber­na­cle, Tot­ten­ham Court Road, Lon­don (1912–16); and Streath­am (1917–37).

From 1931–32, he chaired the Con­gre­ga­tion­al Un­ion of Eng­land and Wales.
