Biography

Ludie was the daughter of Lem­eu­al Day and Em­i­ly Al­ex­an­der, and wife of Le­an­der Pick­ett (mar­ried 1888).

She taught at As­bury Col­lege, Wil­more, Ken­tuc­ky, and was pre­si­dent of the Ken­tuc­ky chap­ter of the Wo­men’s Chris­tian Tem­per­ance Union.
