Biography

Phippen’s The Gen­tle Voice was pub­lished in 1900 in To­le­do, Ohio.

Possibly he is Ros­man H. Phip­pen, who sub­mitted a bill for mu­sic per­formed in Bid­de­ford, Maine, in May 1876 (Maine Me­mo­ry Net­work, accessed 17 Jan 2024). The per­form­ers in­clud­ed an R. H. Phip­pen play­ing the organ.
