Pattinson’s family moved to Bradford, Yorkshire, England, when she was a child. In 1881, she was a school mistress in Manningham, Yorkshire. As of 1906, she was involved in educational work in Bradford. She wrote her hymns mostly for Sunday School anniversaries and other occasions connected with the College Chapel (Congregational) in Bradford. Her works include:
