Biography

Lee was the son of Ben­ja­min Wall­ace Oo­ton and Hat­tie F. An­trim. He mar­ried twice: to Les­ta Goins (1894–1919) and Ed­ith E. Neal (June 1922).

Ordained at an ear­ly age, he taught the Bi­ble and en­gaged in ev­an­gel­ism for ma­ny years.

In No­vem­ber 1925, he was elect­ed Sec­re­ta­ry of the Pen­te­cost­al Min­is­ter­ial Al­li­ance, ser­ving un­til Oc­to­ber 1928. In 1930, he be­came Sec­re­ta­ry of the Apos­tol­ic Church of Je­sus Christ. He also served as the first Trea­sur­er of the Pen­te­cost­al As­sem­blies of Je­sus Christ.

And fin­al­ly, he was Gen­er­al Sec­re­ta­ry of the Apos­tol­ic Min­is­te­ri­al Al­liance for five de­cades.
