Biography

Edward was the son of Tul­li­us O’Kane and Lau­ra A. Ea­ton, and hus­band of Hen­ri­et­ta Car­ter (mar­ried June 19, 1884, Grace Me­tho­dist Epis­co­pal Church, Ur­ba­na, Ohio).

In 1878, he was stu­dy­ing pipe or­gan at Ohio Wes­ley­an Uni­ver­si­ty, De­la­ware, Ohio. His mu­sic for He Loves Me Still was pub­lished in De­la­ware, Ohio, in 1886.
