Died: No­vem­ber 14, 1613, Leip­zig, Ger­ma­ny, of ty­phus.

Biography

Johannes was the son of Hei­ron­y­mus Mühl­mann (or Mül­mann), pas­tor at Pe­gau.

He stu­died at the Uni­ver­si­ties of Leip­zig (MA Ja­nu­ary 1597) and Je­na, then was for some time Sa­tur­day preach­er at St. Tho­mas’ Church in Leip­zig.

In 1599, he was ap­point­ed di­a­co­nus of St. Wen­zel Church in Naum­burg, and in 1604 pastor at Lau­cha an der Un­strut. At the end of 1604, he bec­ame arch­di­a­co­nus of St. Ni­cho­las Church at Leip­zig, and in 1607, was ap­point­ed Pro­fess­or of Theo­lo­gy at the Uni­ver­si­ty (DD 1612).
