Biography

William was the hus­band of Ju­lia A. Muf­fitt.

He was pas­tor of the Spring Ar­bor Free Me­tho­dist Church, Spring Ar­bor, Mi­chi­gan, in the 1930s.

William and Ju­lia were strong sup­porte­rs of Spring Ar­bor Uni­ver­si­ty, where Muf­fitt Hall, a re­si­dence hall built in 1941, was named af­ter them.
