Emily H. Miller (1833-1913)

Daughter of Meth­od­ist pas­tor Thom­as Hunt­ing­ton, Em­i­ly at­tend­ed Ober­lin Coll­ege, and mar­ried John E. Mil­ler in 1860. She helped ed­it The Lit­tle Cor­por­al, a child­ren’s mag­a­zine, and in the 1890’s was Dean of Wo­men Stu­dents at North­west­ern Un­i­ver­si­ty in Il­li­nois. Her works in­clude:
