Died: Oc­to­ber 27, 1918, Co­lum­bi­a­na, Ohio.

Buried: Mid­way Men­non­ite Ce­me­te­ry, Ma­hon­ing Coun­ty, Ohio.

Biography

Abraham was the son of John Metz­ler and Eli­za­beth Burk­hol­der, and hus­band of Ca­the­rine Culp (mar­ried 1875).

He came to Christ in 1882. Near the end of his life, he spent al­most two de­cades as su­per­in­ten­dent of the Or­phans’ Home at West Li­ber­ty, Ohio.
