The only reference we have seen to Mennel is in Rogers’ 1867 Lyra Britannica:

Miss Mennel is author of Life’s Morning, Life’s Evening, Sunday Hours, and other religious publications, chiefly intended for the young…Miss Mennel formerly resided at Brighton.
