Born: May 18, 1829, Les Charbonnières, Vallée de Joux, Canton Vaud, Switzerland.
Died: February 24, 1896. Her place of death is unknown, but she lived most of her life in Lausanne, in a house called Ben Posta.
Mélanie was the daughter of Isaac Elie Rochat (1800–1867), a justice of the peace, and Isaline Rochat.
When she was two years old, her parents sent her to stay with a childless aunt, Madame Lacombe-Rochat, in Lausanne, where she grew up.
If you know Melley-Rochat’s place of death or burial, would you ?
