Died: June 13, 1896, Winc­hes­ter, Mas­sa­chu­setts.

Buried: Wild­wood Ce­me­te­ry, Winc­hes­ter, Mas­sa­chu­setts.

Biography

William was the son of Will­iam and Ma­ry Mc­Ken­zie, both from Scot­land, and hus­band of Eli­za­beth M. Stan­wood (mar­ried 1857, Glou­ces­ter, Mas­sa­chu­setts).

He en­tered the Bap­tist min­is­try, and held sev­er­al pas­tor­ates un­til 1873, when he be­came dis­trict sec­re­ta­ry for New Eng­land of the Am­er­ican Bap­tist Miss­ion­a­ry Un­ion.

The 1880 cen­sus shows him and Eli­za­beth with six child­ren in Win­ches­ter, Mas­sa­chu­setts.
